Weekly News - February 3rd, 2026

Happy February! Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so six more weeks of winter! Oh no!

Though it is cold outside, we have warm hearts at EMC! Last month we were spreading kindness through our kind words and compliments; this month’s Manner’s Challenge is saying ‘Excuse Me’. Students are learning when the right time is to use this phrase.

Our February Academic Challenge is learning about coins and currency! Our students will learn about coins and paper money denominations as well as their value; many will even learn how to make change. Practice this life skill at home as well!

  9. This is a reminder to please avoid parking in front of the school driveway. When vehicles are parked in the area, it becomes difficult for buses to safely pull in and out during arrival and dismissal. Keeping the driveway clear helps ensure the safety of our students and allows traffic to flow more smoothly. We appreciate your cooperation and support.

  10. This is a reminder that smartwatches and phones are not permitted at school during school hours or on the bus. If a student brings a smartwatch or phone to school, it should be turned off and remain in their bookbag.
