Weekly News - March 12th, 2024

Please see some important information regarding dates and links:

1. New Month, New School Challenge: March-Community Caring. This month each grade level will show organizations around our community how much we care! The following grade levels are collecting items. EMC will deliver the items at the end of the month!
   
   If you would like to donate to your child’s grade level service project that would be great! If you would like to donate to another grade level’s service project, that would be fantastic, as well!
   *Grade 5- Gently used children’s books (CHOP at Indian Valley)
   *Grade 3-Hygenie Kits: Adult toothbrush, bar of soap, nail clippers, hand towel, wide-toothed comb. (Mennonite Resource Center)
   *Grade 2-Birthday Party Items: candles, icing, cake sprinkles, plastic tablecloth, etc. (Keystone Opportunity Center)
    
2. Artist Reception- March 14: SASD students’ artwork will be on display at the Indian Valley Public Library from 6:00-7:30pm Open House. 
    
3. Parents as Partners- March 15: Topic: Students and Social Media.  8:20-9:00am in EMC Library.
    
4. Progress Reports- March 18: Log into Home Access Center to view your child’s progress report after 7pm.
    
5. Home and School BINGO Night Fundraiser: EMC Bingo Night. Saturday, March 23. Event: 6-9pm at the Tylersport Fire Dept. Adults only. Check out the EMC Facebook for more details. 
    
6. Honors Band Concert: March 23- SASD Honors Band Concert 12:00pm at ICMS
    
7. Spring Holiday Break- March 27-April 1: No school
