Weekly News - April 2nd, 2024

1. New Month, New School Challenge: April Our students are challenged to learn the names of the planets in our solar system and their order from the sun. We are also challenging the students to learn some facts about space. If they learn some facts and write them on the Solar System Fact Sheets in their classrooms, they can turn in their facts to the office to be read on our morning announcements! 
    
2. School Spirit Day- April 3: Wear your school colors! 
    
3. Math 24 Club- Permission slips due back April 3. Club starts April 4, 3:30-4:15pm
    
4. Yearbooks for Sale: Order forms due April 5. To order a yearbook online visit https://inter-state.com/YearbookEntry/82151W.  You can also return the yearbook envelope with cash or a check made payable to EMC Home and School. 
    
5. Student Council Sponsored Spirit Special Event-April 12: Comfy Clothes Day $1.00 

6. Student Placement Feedback Forms- Due April 17

7. Home and School Sponsored Walk-a-Thon- April 19 

8. Grit Day/Lemonade Day- April 22 Wear Yellow Day!  

9. PSSA Testing- Grades 3-5- April 24-26 ELA,  April-29-30 Math,   May 1-2 Science 

10. Home and School Mtg - April 24 at 7pm at EMC Cafe 

11. Night to Shine- April 26 at 7-8pm EMC APR
