Welcome back! Hope you had a wonderful Spring break.   

April Challenge: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!  

Earth Day is April 22, and our April challenge is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! 

Have you ever upcycled something or creatively reused an item? Have you planted flowers to beautify the Earth? Throughout the month of April, help your child take part in one or more of these Earth-friendly activities and send me a picture of what you create together! 

  • Print the picture and send it to school 

We will be creating a bulletin board showcasing how our teachers and students are helping to make our Earth beautiful. We can’t wait to see your child’s creativity!

  5. Screenagers - Wednesday, April 22 from 6:00-7:30pm in the APR. Dinner will be served. RSVP’s are due by Thursday, April 9. See the Screenagers flyer.
     
  6. Field Day Volunteering - Sign up to volunteer for the Gr. 3-5 Field Day - Friday, May 15. 
    Sign up to volunteer for the K-2 Field Day - Friday, May 29. 
    *More details regarding our Field Days will be sent out soon. 
     
  7. McDonald’s Fundraiser - Have dinner at McDonald’s tonight Tuesday, April 7 from 5-7:00pm. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Fourth Grade Field Trip to Harrisburg.   
     
  8. After-school Spanish Club - Grades 2 and 3 today, Tuesday, April 7 from 3:30-4:30pm. 
     
  9. School Store and School Spirit Day - Wednesday, April 8. 
     
  10. After-school Cupcake Club - Grade 2 Group# 1 on Wednesday, April 8 from 3:30-4:30pm. 
     
  11. After-school Math Club - Grades 4 and 5 on Thursday, April 9 from 3:30-4:30pm.
