4. After School Garden Art Painting Club Session#1- Has been rescheduled to Monday, April 28 from 3:30-4:30pm.  Pick up students at the APR lobby porch. 
    
5. Race for Education Labels due Friday, April 11. - Click here to view. 
    
6. Yearbook Cover Contest- Grade 5 students only. Entries are due on Monday, April 14. 
    
7. EMC Dress as Your Favorite Book Character Day- Tuesday, April 15. Come to school dressed as your favorite book character. We can’t wait to see who you choose. Be creative! No masks or violent characters.    
    
8. No School, Spring Break!  April 16-21. 
    
9. Jessie’s BBQ Fundraiser- Jessie’s BBQ Night has been moved to Wednesday, April 23. A portion of the day's proceeds come to EMC.

11. Grit Day/Lemonade Day- Friday, May 2: Wear Yellow Day! EMC is celebrating the grit and perseverance our students have shown this school year. Remember to wear your “I Have Grit” T-Shirts or wear yellow.    
     
12. EMC School Store and Spirit Day- Our last Schoolwide School Store will be on Wednesday, May 7. This date will be easy to remember because it is also our School Spirit Day!  If you give your child permission to purchase school supplies from our school store, please make sure the money is in an envelope and labeled:  School Store, your child’s name, and how much money is inside.   The items cost $0.50-$2.00. Please do not send bills larger than $10. Students are allowed to purchase up to 4 items per school store day. Click here to view the flyer and price sheet.   
     
13. Attendance Reminder- To report an absence, late or early dismissal, please email EMC’s attendance office at: Attendemc@soudertonsd.org.       
     
14. Dismissal Reminder-Reminder to our students who are walkers or car riders- Please make sure you are heading to your car or on your way home at dismissal. Do not stop and play in our front yard, the crossing guards are only able to help for a limited time and the car traffic needs to keep moving. Thank you for your help!
