April Challenge: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!  

Earth Day is April 22, and our April challenge is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! 

Have you ever upcycled something or creatively reused an item? Have you planted flowers to beautify the Earth? Throughout the month of April, help your child take part in one or more of these Earth-friendly activities and send me a picture of what you create together! 

  • Print the picture and send it to school 

We will be creating a bulletin board showcasing how our teachers and students are helping to make our Earth beautiful. We can’t wait to see your child’s creativity!

  5. Screenagers – Wednesday, April 22 from 6:00-7:30pm in the APR. Dinner will be served. RSVP’s are due by Thursday, April 16. See the Screenagers flyer.
     
  6. Field Day Volunteering – Sign up to volunteer for the Gr. 3-5 Field Day - Friday, May 15. 
    Sign up to volunteer for the K-2 Field Day - Friday, May 29. 
    *More details regarding our Field Days will be sent out soon.
     
  7. Muffins with Mom – See the Muffins with Mom flyer (English and Spanish versions) Friday, May 8 from 7:45-8:35.  
     
  8. Grit/Lemonade Day – See the Grit/Lemonade Day t-shirt order form - Friday, May 1. Wear Yellow Day! T-Shirt orders are due by Friday, April 17. No late orders will be accepted.     
     
  9. After-School Cupcake Club – Grade 2 Group# 2, on Wednesday, April 15 from 3:30-4:30pm. 
     
  10. Pretzel Day Fundraiser $1.00 – Money is due Wednesday, April 15 and pretzels are delivered on Friday, April 17. Last pretzel fundraiser of the year!   
     
  11. After-School Garden Club – Grades 2-5 Thursday, April 16 from 3:30-4:30pm. 
     
  12. After-School Cupcake Club – Grade 2 Group# 2, on Thursday, April 16 from 3:30-4:30pm. 
     
  13. After-School Math Club – Grades 4 and 5 on Thursday, April 16 from 3:30-4:30pm. 
     
  14. Souderton Pizza and Pasta Night Fundraiser – Thursday, April 16.  
     
  15. After-School Garden Club – Grades 4-5 Wednesday, April 22 from 3:30-4:45pm.
