April Challenge: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!  

April challenge is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! Have you ever upcycled something or creatively reused an item? Have you planted flowers to beautify the Earth? Throughout the month of April, help your child take part in one or more of these Earth-friendly activities and send me a picture of what you create together! 

  • Print the picture and send it to school 

We will be creating a bulletin board showcasing how our teachers and students are helping to make our Earth beautiful. We can’t wait to see your child’s creativity!

  7. Field Day Volunteering – Sign up to volunteer for the Gr. 3-5 Field Day - Friday, May 15. 
    Sign up to volunteer for the K-2 Field Day - Friday, May 29. 
    *More details regarding our Field Days will be sent out soon.
     
  8. Muffins with Mom – See the Muffins with Mom flyer (English and Spanish versions) Friday, May 8 from 7:45-8:35.  
     
  9. Talent Show Club Rehearsals – Wednesday, April 29 from 3:30-4:45pm.  
     
  10. After-School Garden Club – Grades 4-5 Wednesday, April 22 from 3:30-4:45pm. 
     
  11. Teacher Appreciation Week – May 4-May 8. Help make this a special week for our teachers! See the Teacher Appreciation Sign-up. Help is appreciated! 
     
  12. School Store and Spirit Day – Our last School Store will be on Wednesday, May 6. This date will be easy to remember because it is also our School Spirit Day!
