1. May’s Schoolwide Challenge: Become a STAR READER! That means complete your book log listing  25 books. Students have kept a book log all year and now we are racing towards the finish. We will celebrate all students who have become STAR READERS by inviting them to a fun school assembly on May 24!  Students get reading!
    
2. Teacher Appreciation Week: May 6-10- Home and School is stocking up the teacher’s closets with supplies and snacks to get them through the rest of the year. Please see the Teacher Appreciation Sign-up Genius.
    
3. Muffins with Mom: Friday, May 10- Last names ending L-Z arrival time is 7:45 am. Last names ending A-K arrival time is 8:00 am. Join us in the APR for muffins!  
    
4. EMC’s Spring Concert: Monday, May 13- 2:00pm at EMC and 7:00 pm at Souderton High School.
    
5. EMC Open House and Book Fair: Thursday, May 16- 5:30-7:00 pm.
    
6. Souderton Pizza Night Fundraiser: Thursday, May 16- Visit Souderton Pizza and Pasta before or after EMC’s Open House! A portion of the proceeds will go towards EMC.
    
7. EMC’s Annual Field Day: Friday, May 17- If you’re interested in helping run a station, please see the Field Day Sign-up Genius.  If you have any questions, please email Mr. Aaronson at daaronson@soudertonsd.org  
    
8. Guest Author Coming to EMC: Monday, May 20- Melissa Tempe will be at EMC to tell the story of her book, Ladybug Launch.     
    
9. No School: Monday, May 27- Memorial Day
    
10. Home and School Parent’s Night Out: Friday, May 31- 6:00-8:30 pm $10 per child.
