Weekly News - May 6th, 2026

This month, we are celebrating America 250! Students will become our very own local historians by submitting facts about America to the main office. Facts submitted by students will be shared during Morning Announcements and displayed throughout our hallways.

Throughout the month, students will participate in a variety of patriotic activities, including wearing red, white, and blue; creating a large collaborative flag; learning about Pennsylvania history; and viewing displays, photographs, and historical timelines across the building.

On Tuesday, May 12, we will kick off our month-long celebration with a special morning dedicated to America 250. Students will engage in hands-on activities such as butter and quilt making, play colonial-era games, and even enjoy a visit from George Washington!

Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue on Tuesday, May 12, to help launch this exciting celebration.
