Weekly News - September 5th, 2023

Hope you had a great holiday weekend!

  1. Kindergarten and First Grade Parent Volunteers: We are looking for parents to volunteer to help in the cafeteria and/or the playground for the first few weeks of school.

  1. Arrival and Dismissal Information: Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
    Please note that School Lane is a One-Way Street Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4pm. Our building opens at 8:20am, please do not arrive prior to 8:20am, there will not be supervision for your child. Dismissal for bus riders begins at 3:17pm and walkers and car riders will be dismissed from our APR doors around 3:30pm.

    * Arrival: School Lane is a One-Way Street and the sidewalk closest to the school is  DROP-OFF ZONE Only. Students should exit the car onto the sidewalk. Drivers, please do not get out of your car. This side of the street is a “Drop and Go” zone and traffic must keep moving. If you would like to help your child out of the car or walk your child up to the school, please park on the other side of School  Lane, Montgomery Ave., or Garfield Ave. Please do not block the driveways of our neighbors and be sure to cross the street using the crosswalks.

    *Dismissal: School Lane is a One-Way Street. Our driveway and parking lots are closed to parents. We will dismiss all our buses first, then we will dismiss walkers and car riders. Please use our crosswalks. Refrain from cutting across our parking lots. Thank you for your patience and help. Our main goal is safety!

    • 5:45-6:30pm ESL Parent Information Meeting

    • 6:30-8:00pm Parents meet the teacher!
