As many of you know, each month we have a school-wide Challenge where everyone gets involved to learn something new! This month we are learning the sone, America the Beautiful!  Help your child learn this song so we can sing it as a school at our Panther Pride Assembly at the end of the month.

2. EMC Spirit Wear - The online store for EMC Spirit Wear is currently open! Order your school T-shirts, hoodies and other items by Sunday, Sept 14th. Place your order online.  Any questions, reach out to Tara Landis at 484-614-8011.  
    
3. EMC Girls on The Run - EMC will be hosting Girls on the Run for all girls in third through fifth grade. The Girls on the Run team will meet on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s September 23 -December 4. The 5K race is December 7. Please email Mrs. Burke, dburke@soudertonsd.org,  with any questions. See the Girls on the Run Flyer - ENGLISH | SPANISH. 
     
4. EMC Sunflowers and Legos Afterschool Group - On Thursday, September 25 from 3:30-4:30 third and fourth grade students will have the opportunity to learn about making sunflowers out of Legos! Each student will make two sunflowers: one to keep and one to “plant” at school. There will be a maximum of 20 students. See the flyer for more information.    
    
5. EMC Kindergarten Color Weeks - Beginning Monday, September 15 through Friday, September 26 our kindergarteners will be wearing the color of the day. The entire school can join in on the fun and wear the color of the day! Next week’s colors are... 
   1. Monday, September 15 - Red Day        
   2. Tuesday, September 16 - Orange Day 
   3. Wednesday, September 17 - Yellow Day  
   4. Thursday, September 18 - Green Day 
   5. Friday, September 19 - Blue Day   
   6. Monday, September 22 - Purple Day 
   7. Wednesday, September 24 - Pink Day  
   8. Thursday, September 25 - Black and White Day  
   9. Friday, September 26 - Rainbow Day  
       
6. Souderton Pizza Fundraiser - Thursday, September 18, a portion of the day’s proceeds go to EMC. 
    
7. EMC Student Council Jersey Day - Friday, September 19. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s jersey!   
    
8. EMC’s Directory and Volunteer Sign up - Please sign up to help in the classroom, join special event days, and be part of our school directory. See the signup form. 
    
9. Arrival/Dismissal - School Lane is a One-Way Street on school days from 7:45am-4pm. The sidewalk closest to the school is a Drop and Go Zone. Please keep traffic moving. Your child should exit the car onto the sidewalk. Drivers should remain in the car. See the Traffic Pattern Brochure and the traffic pattern video.
