December’s monthly challenge…    

Alphabetical Order!  Can your child put words in alphabetical order? How about when the first two letters of words are the same?  Practice at home by listing words in alphabetical order!

4. The Giving Tree - Now until Monday, December 15 you are invited to stop by the Indian Valley Public Library and pick a star to help members in the community who are need of some holiday cheer! See the Giving Tree flyer.   
    
5. EMC Student Council Meeting - Thursday, December 11 at 8:00am in the library. 
    
6. Santa In the Greenhouse - Saturday, December 13 from 9:00am-1:00pm at Souderton High Schools Greenhouse on campus. Fun for the entire family! See the Santa in the Greenhouse flyer for details. 
     
7. EMC Winter Concert - Monday, December 15 from 7:00-8:30pm, our Fourth and Fifth Grade Orchestra, Band and Chorus will hold their Winter Concert at Souderton High School Auditorium. A festive celebration of winter classics for the entire family to enjoy while supporting our students! 
    
8. EMC Holiday Spirit Week - Monday, December 15 - Friday, December 19. See the Holiday Spirit Week flyer for the schedule for each day.     
     
9. Souderton Pizza and Pasta Night - Thursday, December 18. A portion of the proceeds will go to support EMC’s Home and School.   
    
10. EMC Pretzel Days - Our first Philly Soft Pretzel Day of the school year will be Friday, December 19. Please help support our fourth-grade annual field trip to Harrisburg/Hershey in the spring. See the Pretzel Days flyer.   
     
11. EMC Student Council Activity Day - Friday, December 19. 
     
12. No School for Students - Wednesday, December 24 - Friday, January 2. Students return Monday, January 5.
