Weekly News - December 18th, 2023

Hope you had a great weekend!

1. EMC Winter Concert at Souderton Area High School Auditorium on 12/20 at 7pm.
    
2. EMC’s Schoolwide Challenge! Shoe tying!  Help your child learn to tie their shoes. Our goal is to have ALL our students know how to tie their shoes by 12/22! Help us achieve our goal! There is a video link in the Panther Press.
    
3. This week is filled with Holiday Fun!
   12/19 Pajama Day 
   12/20: Bring your favorite Holiday Book to school & Winter Concert Rehearsal at 2pm 
   12/21: Ugly Sweater Day   
   12/22: Holiday Socks and Hat Day, Sing-a-long at 1:30pm & Holiday Social at 2pm.
    
4. Earn CASH for EMC with Box Tops – Earn money for our school!  We are having a competition to see which classroom has the most Box Top Points. Contest ends on Dec 31!  
    
5. Picking up your child early or a change in dismissal plans? - Please send the office staff and the teacher an e-mail no later than 2pm. 6. Arrival Procedures- Please remember that School Lane is a One-Way Street. The sidewalk in front of our school is a Drop and Go Zone. Please keep the traffic moving by having your child exit the car onto the sidewalk. If you would like to help your child out of the car or walk them to the building, please park on Montgomery or Garfield Avenue and use the crosswalk. Thank you for your help! 
    
7. Boys and Girls Club: Closed until January 2^nd. Please make alternative dismissal arrangements for your child during this time.
