This month we are learning the song, America the Beautiful!  Help your child learn this song so we can sing it as a school at our Panther Pride Assembly at the end of the month.

4. EMC Girls on The Run: Afterschool Club! - EMC will be hosting Girls on the Run for all girls in third through fifth grade. The Girls on the Run team will meet on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s beginning Thursday, September 25 -December 4. The 5K race is December 7. See attached to sign up! 5. EMC Sunflowers and Legos Afterschool Club - The Club meets on Thursday, September 25 from 3:30-4:30pm. Our club is full, thank you.     
    
6. EMC Kindergarten Color Week - This is our last week of colors! The entire school can join in on the fun and wear the color of the day! This week’s colors are...  
   - Wednesday, September 24- Pink Day   
   - Thursday, September 25- Black and White Day   
   - Friday, September 26- Wear all of the colors of the Rainbow!  
    
7. EMC Home and School Meeting - Wednesday, September 24 at 7pm in the cafeteria. Free babysitting available. 
    
8. Downtown Scoop Ice Cream: Home and School Fundraiser! - Visit Downtown Scoop on Thursday, September 25, and a portion of the proceeds will go to EMC’s Home and School. 
    
9. EMC Back to School Bash - Friday, September 26 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Boys and Girls Club. Activities, organized games, and fun for all. A permission slip must be filled out by all students planning to attend. See the Back to School Bash flyer for more information. 
    
10. Afterschool Bike Club - Wednesday, October 15 and October 22 from 3:30-4:30pm. This club is for Fourth and Fifth graders with a bike and a bike helmet. Spots are limited; first come first serve. Permission slips will be sent home on Wednesday, September 24. 
     
11. Arrival/Dismissal - School Lane is a One-Way Street on school days from 7:45am-4pm. The sidewalk closest to the school is a Drop and Go Zone. Please keep traffic moving. Your child should exit the car onto the sidewalk. Please do not park in front of residents or school driveways. Drivers should remain in the car.
