Before and After School Care

To help support families in need of before and after school care, SASD offers Kids Kare. Kids Kare is a child-care program for grades K-5, operated for the Souderton Area elementary schools by the Indian Valley branch of the North Penn YMCA. The program is designed to meet the needs of working parents, and is offered at all district elementary schools before school (7:00-8:30a.m.) and after school (3:15-6:00p.m.).   

The Kids Kare program provides a fun, nurturing environment for your child before and after school. Kids Kare includes various activities including sports, games, crafts, character development, homework supervision, snack, and more. Enrichment programs include math, reading, and science.
